A Rare Choctaw Articulated Female Doll
Probably a puppet, carved of wood, with arms, legs, knees and feet pinned in place with nails. Featuring long arms terminating in inward-facing hands, and facial features subtly carved in relief, with painted red cheeks. Adorned with hide garment, seed bead necklace, and tobacco coiffure.
